I'm saddened to hear about your father. You did everything right, kept him going til the EMTs arrived, I'm sorry they couldn't save him.
It sounds like he was someone you loved & respected immeasurably. I lost my dad almost 15 years ago and it's a hole in your heart forever. Stay strong and be aware that everyone deals with grief differently, so be there for your family. They need you.
