i would say it is actually too much longer the driver might have done something different but i think some tests have them as even closer together (like 1-2 feet)

in both cars i would immediately switch out the brake pads and fluid for more track ready equipment. from the factory i would be happy with either set up if i were going to the track (camaro might fade quicker due to weight)... if i were going to a car show.... camaro please.

and captain, that is most certainly rust. my car is completely full of it on the bottom of it....very annoying
