that being said, the only thing a greater number of pistons allows you to do is go with a larger Brake pad, and also a larger rotor. when it comes to performance and track driving the front brakes are doing an absolutely overwhelming amount of the work.

I still use the stock calipers on my car and i track my car very heavily with absolutely no fade. Hell even Ford/ roush use 1 piston calipers on their Grand-Am racing cars.
I really don't care what BMW does...let them do their thing, and we can do ours...tired of 'benchmarking' them like experts of the industry. Ah, I could go on
a rant...nevermind.

I know that front brakes do more work than the rears. I didn't really speak in terms of one or the other...just generally.
