Thanks for all the inputs guys.

This will be my bro's daily driver. You know, usual 17 year old kid stuff, school, movies, mall, romp in the back seat, occasional winter driving, etc. So my biggest concern (apart from safety) is just how the car feels on the road. Is he going to be comfortable? Will it fulfill a 17 year olds daily driving needs?

He really liked the way they look. And he loves the fact that he can hardtop it in the winter and then turn it into a convertible truck in the summer. He's not a big fan of the Sahara but he likes the X and Sport models with the round headlights. (He's talked to me about them quite a bit once he saw this thread).
