I'm not the one who started a thread congratulation myself for saving someone. See Matt 6:1 for my personal take on helping people.
If you would get past my comments, which seem to have stung you a bit, maybe you'd see the deeper meaning here.
It's all well and good to help someone, but to truly help someone requires time and money. These situations always amaze me. Someone does something superficial, congratulates himself, receives hearty approval from others, then walks away.
What happens to the man after everyone is done patting themselves on the back for making a phone call? No one seems to consider that or even care.
Instead of criticizing me for pointing that out, why don't you invest your time and money in someones life? And don't start an internet thread about it.
