[Dr Jkel]

Hi All,
I posted a little in my thread of Dr Jkel but thought I would share with the rest as most probably will not view that thread and maybe will view this one.

In the pictures that follow you will see what brought me to the Bow Tie Craze some 36 years ago.
I was 6 years old, it was a 1963 Chevy C-10 Stepside that my Uncle had and had gotten from his father in 1965.( His father purchased it new). It had a 327 cu in motor, 3 speed on the column and wore out glass pack mufflers. We were on a wide open country road and he stomped it, all I saw was the needle hit 100 MPH, heard the glass packs singing and I was all in hook line and sinker.
He had changed the cam in the truck years earlier to a 3/4 Race cam, whatever that meant, and it sounded mean. From that day on my lifes ambition was to own that truck.
Fast forward '' A FEW " years and I finally talked him out of the truck, actually I begged like a school girl, and he gave it to me.

It has been a labor of love, heartache, pain, tears, threats, blood you name it and it is almost complete. I have been assured, after some powerful persuation if you get my drift, that it will me done no later than Feb 28, 2011.

Here are a few pics I took last night when I went to See Mr Hyde. My little boys gave it that name because my car is name Dr Jkel.
