Now, I'm not an old guy who's standing up for people who played "back in the day", but Unitas is the top QB. Besides being a great on-field general, Unitas and Ray Berry invented and perfected timing between the quarterback and receiver. If they played today, they'd carve up a defense just like they did back then. If you ever get a chance, watch some of the old film of them. The routes, timing and placement is as sharp as the best players of today, but done by guys wearing potato sacks for jerseys, and those dorky looking helmets.
