OK guys… stay with me on this.

Assume (for the sake of argument) that you are walking on an uncarpeted hallway. Now, from either two or three doors behind you, or perhaps a side hallway up ahead, you hear the unmistakable…. “click.. click.. click” of shoe heels. Not a “clomp”, not a “stomp”, not something similar to elephants on parade. But rather a short clipped “click”.

Have the picture in your head? Good! Now… answer me this riddle Batman, what is your first reaction/response?

A. If they can put man on the moon why the *#$&#! can’t they make quiet women’s shoes?!?

B. It’s sexy, and in that delightfully male perspective you associate the sound with legs and everything wonderfully female.

C. You don’t even notice it, and don’t know what the hell I’m talking about.

I ask because regardless of how quietly I try to walk in high heels or boots, I can’t avoid it! At the office, grocery store, in the Mall, or walking down the sidewalk.. “click.. click.. click.. click.. click..” Am I the only one that thinks it’s annoying?
