10. HOW TO: Play a Trick On Your Friends in Your Status Update
We have a funny one to end on — a way to play an*amusing trick on your Facebook buddies.
This clever link “http://facebook.com/profile.php?=73322363″ looks like it could be a URL for anyone’s Facebook profile, actually takes anyone logged into Facebook to their*own profile page.
If you try it out, be sure to remove the link preview that Facebook auto-ads. Have fun, and don’t be*too mean…
Try all these links and it’ll redirect your browser to your own facebook profile only:
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?=46546
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?=8643
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?=973102
I tried it out and it did just as what they said it would do. I was quite amused but a little later I replaced the number “73322363″ with other different number combinations and again it redirected to my own facebook profile. Then I remembered that any link in facebook followed by a question mark ‘?’ doesnt matter much.
Blog giants like Mashable committing such silly mistakes is too hard to take.
