From my understanding, from a friend at work who decided to buy the PS3 version, the problems are more hardware related. (I play on the 360 so, this is second hand info to me.)
He states that his console does some real buggy things sometimes when trying to load the game, such as multiple reboots. System freezes at the main menu… Extreme lag…
He just found out about the petition a couple of days ago, but has been mentioning these issues and more from day 1 to present.
He bought the game at Gamestop and also owns a 360. I told him on week two, to take the game to Gamestop and see if they could swap it for a 360 copy, but he was thinking that they would get an update to fix the issues.
As I said, this is second hand info to me.
