Hmmm...that is interesting, I was not aware that your body could convert protein into carbs. That is gonna make me feel much better about increasing protein and decreasing carbs. Thanks!
I like the Syntha6 protein powder....tastes great and has less calories than most protein powders. I will look into the ones you mentioned though.
I'm pretty much aware of the non-meat protein choices, I'm just not sure how to creatively work them in, ya know? I like putting beans on my salads and like nuts as a snack. I also eat the heck out of the Morning Star soy protein options they offer but am looking for some good full meal ideas that my non-vegetarian husband will rave over.

I DO eat fish/seafood, so I am not completely limited and love the fact I get my Omega-3s.
