I totally agree with Dragoneye's opinion. Most people tend to keep their point of view in a two-meter-radius, everything they complain about is what THEY are missing and how much money THEY have to spend on something. That's the same all over the world. Oh damn, now somebody will shout "communism alert!!!", but that's not what it is about. As everywhere in life, the truth is for sure somewhere in the middle between oil companies making money, avoiding future ecological collapses, the car industries's way of technology increasement and so on. But to reduce to the point: I think that what now is processing (the development of hybrids and electric powered vehicles) is the logical result of the increasing gas prices. We are just at the beginning of that road, let's wait what will come up in the next years.
