I have a soft spot for Monty Carlos. Have a bigger soft spot for not throwing good money into a bottomless pit.
I'd check to see
if it can be donated in it's current condition and what the tax benefit would be, vs what you could get back from scraping it out. Possibly take the estimated amount it will cost to keep it going, add a few bucks, and get another beater in better condition.
