Well, like anything, ''better'' is more about what sort of measuring stick your using, and much of it is subjective.

The analogy that I like to use is wine.

American cars are value wine. Say you buy a 50 dollar bottle of wine, and a 500 dollar bottle of wine.

The 50 dollar bottle of wine gives you the same buzz, the same type of drink, the same quantity, and overall, lets say 70% of the experience of a more expensive wine, at 10% of the price.

For a lot of people, maybe even most of them, thats the better wine.

But what about the people who have the $$ to spend on the $500 bottle? What about the people who have developed the palate to fully appriciate and enjoy that other 30% that you can only get with a nicer wine?
