This is the senate 'edition' of this blasphemy. If anything fails, it's gonna fail in the senate. The House is too left-leaning for any impact to be made. :(
I have to believe they had good intentions with this legislation. They want to get old clunky vehicles (not necessarily targeted at classics...) off the roads to improve fuel economy, etc...Frankly; no enthusiast is going to turn in his/her prized vehicles for a few thousand....but regardless, this is so ass-backwards I want to punt a small animal.
EDIT: And why does all this stuff seem to originate in California?.........
