It takes common sense to understand a simple concept.
I would rather pay $0.50 per gallon than $500.00 per gallon.
My 2010 SS gets twice the mileage my old vehicle gets.
If gasoline cost $0.01 per gallon, then I would only consider a car's mileage when it comes to how often I'd have to visit the gas station... for my own convenience.
If we all drove Yugos and had to pay $10 per month on gas and the price doubled... we would still be complaining.
