It's called crude oil. We've found it. Global warming? We just came off a cold summer, and got a shit ton of rain... breaking rainfall and snow pack records.
I don't buy it. Anyone can look up the price of gasoline in Canada/Europe and do the conversion. But can you tell me what the cost of living is and compare it to the United States of America? What the average household income is? Do these countries have refineries like we do? Do these countries have domestic oil supplies? How do their economies compare to ours? How about their environmental regulations? - I'm sure they don't compare at all, so we can't really compare what we have to pay in USD to what they pay - converted to USD.
You can't compare apples and feces.
