Gas prices would go down if off-shore drilling and Alaska exploration was allowed. While we are at it, let's increase capacity by building some new refineries. Right now none of that is happening. For now, we depend on the dependable and friendly folks in in the Middle East to satisfy our appetite for crude.
Gas prices are high because of our government, the people you elect.
