The redesign won't come until 2014 at the earliest. The Mustang would have to gain 300-400lbs to match the weight of the Camaro. Everyone here was saying that the 2010 Mustang was going to add a bunch of weight but that didn't happen. Ford stuck with the solid axle rear to keep weight and cost down at the expense of ride quality. I don't see the weight going up drastically for the Mustang until the redesign. And who knows, Ford may stick with the solid axle for the redesign also. Just like Chevy sticking with pushrod engines when everyone else is going OHC.
