0-60 is a small part of tracking a car. Cornering is equally or more important, and (though they havent officially tested the car and got the .96g's which was released... ) the Camaro should have an adavantage in both straight aways and corners. Thus, the Challenger has no area of the track where it can advance on the Camaro, resulting in a dusting.
