didnt think so.
We can't afford too. We dont have millions stuffed away in our bank accounts and plenty of stock options and bonuses coming out way to keep us afloat without working for the next 20 years.

I Don't get where alot of you seem to think that every GM UNION worker makes over $100,000 a year. It RARELY happens. My parents do, but my stepdad is a highly skilled tradesman, master electician for the entire west paint shop. My mother is a union rep for the entire west paint shop on her shift. Even them, they are both taxed very heavily.

My stepdad worked 7 days a week and almost no holidays most of the time. My mother is barely at home as she is working up to 16 hours a day at the plant. He has since retired last month and she is retiring next Dec.

As for me, the closest i came to making 100,000 was i banked close to 80 k when the GMT-900 came online and i worked any overtime and holidays and double/triple shifts i could.

Other then that, without overtime "thing of the past" we make about 65k a year give or take depending on your pay scale.

So we make the same as a toyota worker, ford worker, dodge and honda worker. Just wait until toyota's legacy costs finally catch up with them. Then we will see who changes their tune.

I agree that none of us UNION workers would take $1 salary, why would we, we dont have the money stuffed away like red ink rick. Our union have fought hard for us to get where we are today and i would be damned to let it all go in one shot because "everyone else is doing it".

I have a family to feed and house to pay and bills to pay, i can't do $1 salary. Can you in your job? i highly doubt it, so before you come across all nasty and start whipping us with words about taking a $1 salary, take a minute and think if YOU could do the same, then give me your answer.
