what I love most about the corvette is the first the long history of the car, and how its always been beautiful, and able to compete with or obliterate the competion, not just in america but exotics (i.e. in LeMans) just read this thread for some history

(trying to keep it short). the fact that it had the engine under the hood, with that good ol' pushrod engine, V8 with 400, or 505 horses, and still has great gas milage compared to lambos and ferrari's in its class. and manages to still be a dream car you can possibly afford. change any of that and you take away from what had been and should continue to be a Corvette
