I have never seen a stock R/T below the high 13s or mid 5s either....
Apples to Apples, Stock vs Stock, the GTO will come out on top.
I would personally take the 470 horsepower/470 lb-ft. Hemi-powered 6.4 liter Challenger SRT8 392. Dodge says they can do the 1/4 mile in lows 12s(12.4 they say) bone stock. |
the GTO curb weight is 3750lbs and average about 330rwhp. (manual)
Challenger RT weight is 4000lbs and average about 330rwhp (both autos and manuals)
they are not too far apart. Now stick an auto in the GTO and youre in trouble. Its less efficient and only has 3 speeds plus an overdrive.....
