Ive got a feeling that the next generations of the Camaro and Mustang will answers all of our prayers and will be a world class contender's and deliver a total package like a GTR or AMG. I would love to see dual clutch transmissions, electronic differentials, and cutting edge traction control on the next gen's.
Sure the GT can hang with a M3 around a track but it takes a really good driver, maybe next gen a fat man can beat it while sipping a hot cup of coffee if you know what I mean. Our pony cars are just crude over powered coupe's that are lacking the total package and refinement that can catapult it into another segment. Sorry if I got a little off topic. Our cars are so close to being perfect and then us Americans can rub it in the imports nose's. I'm playing for team American not team Mustang

I hear ya... but... I kinda like the semi-unrefined part of the American muscle car...
Once the z28 hits the street then it is definitely game on... I don't see Chevy blowing the GT500 away by any stretch...
But it should be fun to watch...
