I'm enjoying the US version as well. Watching the Lamborghinis being floored for a mile was exhilarating (maybe just because I want a Gallardo Superleggera one day...) and seeing a blind guy make a full 180-degree drift in to a parking space got my adrenaline rushing.
I'm hoping History gives it enough of a chance to develop its own flavor though. It'd be a shame to watch it go after one season.
