No, I think they have to keep the profit relatively high so they can recover the huge loss they took to get the car to market. This is a first year car I'm thinking they'll have to keep profit levles up. I see your point about how much we get for the money but I'm thinking GM will have to make money up front. Either that or they are marking up other models to help cover camaro costs...

But in this economy that doesn't seem wise either.
