I can't imagine owning a foriegn vehicle ('built here' or not)....there's no reason not to. Especially now when nearly every import has an equal or better domestic counterpart. Besides, I live here, I'm gonna buy from here. No two ways about it. There's a sense of responsibility coupled to buying domestic that FAR too many people don't have.:(
That's not to say I don't like some foriegn cars...luckily, there's none to tempt me away from a Camaro.

I totally agree.
This is going to get messy, but its just MY OPINION! People forget what happened before (WW1, WW2) Who's to say that couldn't happen again? And WE/YOU would have FUNDED IT! Now they just let them run into our market not caring about anything as long as everyone gets their cut.
Now, the big three did need a considerable wrist slapping to get their ass back in the game, and i believe that has happened.
My money stays on this side of the sea!
Also, since the Camaro is being built in Canada, i can finally say, "I'm buying Canadian!"
