Honestly, if Nebraska goes into the Big 10 and sucks it up, it won't really make the Big 12 look any better. No real conclusion could be made in that instance.
But if Nebraska goes to the Big 10 and dominates every season, then that would definately make the Big 12 look a lot better.
I think it would be funny if Nebraska beat OU in the Big XII Championship this year. Imagine how royally pissed off the Aggies would feel.
