For the most part, The Camaro's chassis' development costs are spread across many vehicles based on the same platform. And similar to the VZ chassis underpinnig the GTO, Zeta was designed to be profitable in relatively low production numbers. And every vehicle has that "break even" point, even the Challenger. It take a little while to make up a couple hundred million bucks in development costs.
