NFL is easy to follow, even when I was real little.
College is not like that.

NFL is not without its issues.
Offenses are boring. Your favorite player could be on your rival team next
year. Overtime rules are worse. Review/challenge rules are worse.
It's just missing the passion, tradition, and the unique plays and offenses
that college football has - too much business, not enough sport.
