I think that is a perfect description of the vibe I took away. It's like they are trying to create a similar chemistry to what exists on the original show. In time they may develop some real chemistry, but for now it seems like I'm watching three guys read from a teleprompter. I'm wondering how long before a writer starts adding "your mom is so fat" jokes.
Overall, I found the show interesting. That bit of Faust plowing snow in the Evo was pretty cool. I will continue to watch, because I will watch any show about cars. Except for the show with Dennis Gage... I can't take the 'stache.
