To get the beater on the road it needs inspection, but they wouldn't put a sticker on it because "they" said it was rusted and needed $700 for brakes, new rotors and that other thinga-ma-bob. I said because of a little rust?
!!
So Im taking it to another place. I know the brakes might be chewed up a little but still have wear left enough for the winter. And going to check with the other guy to see if the rotors can be turned (if they even need to be).
Checked the weather and no problem.
