Hmm. 400 hp and 23 mpg. The Camaro will already do that, without DI or OHC. We should be concerned because the weight of the Mustang won't go up too much so they will esentially equal our power to weight. So then it comes down to powerband, gearing, and driver.

However, the GM could let the LS3 breath a bit better to boost its output if they so choose. And of course, there is the the upcoming Gen V engines but they aren't due for a few years and GM doesn't have the cash to push the program ahead faster.

2010-2011 should shape up to be a very close match between the Mustang and Camaro.
