But in Europe.. if Cadillac is gonna go in seriously.. they NEED a car that will compete with the two. Bottom Line. I guarantee that we.. AMERICAN Enthusiasts, don't think the A-Class would do very well outside of Europe or at the very worst... California.

The INTERIOR is stellar for this class tho... beautiful in fact.

despite the fact that we as Americans want to be European.. and want our Automakers to emulate them in the market. we want them to do so with 5000 lb land barges that were archaic 20 years ago.

Sorry.. Cadillac needs to be in ever segment Benz is in.. with exception to the SPRINTER. Benz is a full line Luxo maker.. and Cadillac despite it having the Buick/Chevy support group on the lower end, should not even be associated with those brands any more. Buick is fully capable of being an Auxiliary Luxo brand for GM.. while Cadillac goes, for the sale of MARKETING, autonomous.

Meaning.. even if Cadillac gets engines and platforms from GM's other brands as Audi gets from VW... it should offer EVERYTHING that Chevy (excl. Pick-ups) has but 3 times better, more expensive, and anonymous. They do not have to share platforms per se.. but occupy different ends of the segment, the the way that the R8 essentially is to the Superlegga, but at different ends.
