I think that engine might be dead now. It was used in the Cobalt, HHR, Sky, and Solstice. All of them are either dead or dying.

Anyway, 150 hp/L is a lot to ask for. Sure, they could but as always ... just because you can doesn't mean you should. Adding displacement makes things cheaper and easier. Plus, it gives enthusiast more room to play. No replacement for displacement! 2.4L@20 psi > 2.0L@20psi
