large car parked in compact spot??

Compact parking

What's a person to do when all the fullsize spaces are usurped by compact cars? Here is a perfectly common example: The bank I go to has fullsize parking around the building area, and a lot of compact parking some ways off. No one ever parks their compacts over there - it's too dang far to walk for just a 2 minute deposit. So yeah, I'll swing a fullsize-load of gorgeous Camaro into a compact spot thank you very much...since no one else ever parks out there. Plus it gives me more time to admire the car on my return. Win win!

I park in whatever space is available, provided it is not clearly reserved for emergencies, handicapped, or someone who pays to have their name pasted on the parking block.

If large vehicles parked in compact spaces are considered worthy of the A-hole ticket, then I have to say the same of compact owners found parking in normal spaces. Heck, it was only yesterday someone double parked their Civic Hybrid in a fullsize lot...whether the occupants needed extra room for a pair of walkers or were simply protecting their investment, I don't know.

Just to reiterate, I find compact parking is really not "all there" for the compact community.
Who else agrees?
