Now I know that if you try to race in the 13.99 or better class a full face is required. However if (since it's my first time to the track with the T/A) you have no real idea what the car will run will a half helmet suffice (DOT Motorcycle half helmet)?

I'm eventually going to invest in a full face helmet but right now all I have on hand is my half helm from my Magna.
