well "a good investment" depends...if you can use it to make $$$ or at least build up a portfolio/reel to get yourself work, than YES, it's a good investment.
There's plenty of videos on youtube shot with it, take a look if you'd like to see the image quality...here's a video where they actually sent one to space...
