Situation:
I copied and paste special his data onto an excel template I use. The query in access is set up to pull the data from this template and import it into access. I plug in all the data, hit the import button, and for some reason it will not pull in any numbers with letters next to it.
Example:
Here is the data. Try and picture it in an excel spreadsheet..
10000 12615
10000 12545
1502LO 56134
1504GR 56134
When I import the data into access this is what I get:
10000 12615
10000 12545
*BLANK*56134
*BLANK*56134
I have tried copying and paste special into a blank spread sheet then copying from there and paste special into my template and I still get blanks on numbers with letters next to them! It doesn't say "*BLANK*" as I described above. The cell is blank.HELP!!

If it's anything like SQL/mySQL, you need to specify that the left column is NVARCHAR, rather than NUMERIC
