But it's more that I always see it as you are paying way over on the value of the Vette. Not just performance but the total package. The only Vette I would considered owning would be a ZR1 but I don't think I'd even buy one of those. But I look at as I can buy a Mustang, build that beyond what the Vette is, including the Z06, and still be saving a lot of money and have nicer interior. There are MANY cars that you could build to be as fast or faster than a stock vette. That isn't the point. The point is, you get a blazing fast car that looks timeless and handles as good as exotics costing more than twice as much. You also get this with a bumper to bumper warranty,
. Yes there are some negatives like the cheap interior, and very stiff ride, but that's the price you pay for the performance you get. The only car I can think of that even comes close to the performance for the $$, while keeping the factory warranty, is the Shelby GT 500. That's straightline performance as I don't think a 500 could keep up with a vette on a road coarse. Have you sat in a 500 lately? The mustang interior aint exactly plush.
