But it's more that I always see it as you are paying way over on the value of the Vette. Not just performance but the total package. The only Vette I would considered owning would be a ZR1 but I don't think I'd even buy one of those. But I look at as I can buy a Mustang, build that beyond what the Vette is, including the Z06, and still be saving a lot of money and have nicer interior. So it's just from everyone's own perspective which this one is mine.

There are MANY cars that you could build to be as fast or faster than a stock vette. That isn't the point. The point is, you get a blazing fast car that looks timeless and handles as good as exotics costing more than twice as much. You also get this with a bumper to bumper warranty,

. Yes there are some negatives like the cheap interior, and very stiff ride, but that's the price you pay for the performance you get. The only car I can think of that even comes close to the performance for the $$, while keeping the factory warranty, is the Shelby GT 500. That's straightline performance as I don't think a 500 could keep up with a vette on a road coarse. Have you sat in a 500 lately? The mustang interior aint exactly plush.
