That's possible. It is worth mentioning, however, that Subaru appears to be testing to verify the results. This suggests that Subaru does not routinely test vehicles before production the way that GM or other manufacturers do. If it is a dud, then that's fine. If it isn't a dud, this suggests the whole production process at Subaru might be flawed.
