If the roads were slick, he shouldn't have been carrying that much speed though the corner. And he definitely shouldn't have hit the gas with the wheels turned. But lets take common sense and driving skill out of the equation. Isn't the general purpose of traction control to prevent the wheels from spinning when hitting the throttle, for just such an occasion?
