Parts content, and their country of origin, plays a large part in overall %s. Assembly is only one factor, using the current "formula" for determining "Domestic" vs. "Import" status.

In Canada, the greatest number of "assembled" vehicles also sold in that country is by Toyota, who also assemble Lexus RX 350 (the only non-Japanese Lexus plant in the world). However, their "parts content" is not equal.
