It could be the Spec V for all I know, maybe we'll get some clarification soon. To be blunt I don't put a lot of faith in Ring times anymore anyway, waaayyyy too much 'cheating' for my liking (what do we expect with no real governing body, heck manufacturers cheat in NASCAR and it
has a governing body) And Nissan has a history of telling tall tales at the Ring anyway, though they are far from the only company to do so and, to be blunt, the only automaker who regularly touts Ring times that I tend to trust is Porsche.
If I were a Corvette guy I wouldn't let this get me torqued out of shape.
