First Ford's motors are not better. Not by a long shot. They couldn't build a decent pushrod engine so they changed to DOHC with the 4.6L and still couldn't make the power of a chevy. Further proof is the fact that they needed to use the 5.4L to make any power. Try adding lots of power to a 4.6L with out spending money to replace half the rotating assembly and all the cams. An LS3 is almost bullet proof.

As for which is faster I believe even with the new 5.0L and a 400lbs advantage the Mustang still gets beat. Want proof here it is.
