I'd say go back to school and get your masters. That will open doors that will pay off over time. I've seen more experienced and better qualified people get shot down just because they didn't have a piece paper. It makes a difference and it's easier to get while you're young and before you start a family. If you really want to propose to her you can bring it up and discuss it to see how she feels. Clearly if you plan to propose she's not going anywhere anytime soon. Weddings and children are expensive. It's easier to pay for them if you already have a good job.
