I hope you get him to go. People have no idea how smooth and how much fun it is until they actually get onboard. Way different than the Navy I would imagine!
We practically had to drag my mother on, and she just loves it now! And I agree RCCL is the best. Holland America is in like the Mercedes/Caddy class, but a little more pricey.
