FUNNY STORY!
So, last night I'm on my way out to my mom's house to pick up some fishtank stuff my uncle sent back with her last weekend (I'm in the process of setting up a 120 gallon freshwater aquarium). So, I heading out east on Highway 9, where its a 60 mph zone. Now, I normally go 70 on 9 - I mean, its a big, straight highway in the middle of nowhere. So I'm heading down 9 and I get stuck behind this line of cars going 50. I'm like "motha f-er, I don't want to take all day to get there."
So, we come up on a passing zone, and nobody in front of me is showing signs of passing, so I kick it into third and gun it. Well, as I'm coming up parallel with the lead car (and getting close to topping out 4th gear... so, like... 115 mph?) a car tops the hill in front of me about 300 feet out. No biggy, still plenty of room to get over. Well, then my radar detector starts going haywire. LMAO.
So, I get back over and slow down (not like, slam on the brakes. Just normal decelleration) to 70 and just keep going. The cop never flashed his lights, didn't turn around - nothing. I was like "that's right, I was making a legal manuever."
Seriously though, I wonder how the cop must have felt to top the hill and see a car coming head on towards him (albeit a ways out) @ 115.
