Big Programs are never really Down. They may have some off weeks or even a year but are never really down and out unless the good ole NCAA comes in, seee USC in the next few years fall.

I am kinda surprised at Gilbert. I thought he would be alot more productive this year, but I think it goes back to the running game not being efficient.

Michigan looks good, but their defense is WEAK, real weak. I think it may come back to haunt them.

Oregon looks good but the defense is subject. I do not think they could have come back on good teams with athletes that can run with them and have overall team speed, like they did against Stanford.

Alabama has more weaknesses than I would like. Very young and inexperienced secondary gives up too many plays. The team as a whole seems to be a little off in the fact that sometimes I think the kids think they can show up and win, or when they get a lead they think it is already over. May be I am nitpicking, but don't feel as confident about this as most.

If they play 60 minutes then they will be tough to handle, but I think you can say that about alot of teams.

BUT to be real honest, the law of average WILL take effect at some point in time. 2 straight years going undefeated in the regular season isn't going to last forever. While I hope they never lose, it is not realistic. People have been saying that the only team that can beat Alabama is Alabama, but the fact you are dealing with 18+yr old KIDS it is highly likely that someone will make a mistake and cost them a game. If they do I can't be mad.

I actually went to Pasadena last year and watched them in the BCS National Championship Game, kind of a bucket list thing. Probably one of the best trips I have ever taken, especially since they won. A trip with my brother that I will never forget.

Personally my view of Alabama may be different. I think that if a team has a good RUNNING QB, Like Auburn, Michigan, etc... that can throw the ball effeciently to break up the obvious, it will cause Alabama problems. They had plenty of shot at Brantley this past Saturday but missed alot of tackles and he isn't a great runner. Just Saying.......
