Both Dave Dudek's 496 CID Hemi Road Runner & Lane Carey's 588 CID (429 based) Mach1 Mustang went into the 9s @ 139+ MPH at the Factory Appearing Stock Tires (F.A.S.T.) races this weekend. Lane Carey won the FAST final race, the first time Dave Dudek has lost in 4 years. Congrats to Lane & the Ford fans... but Dave and his Hemi are not retiring... Here come the 8.50s...
Also, congrats to Lane and Dave for breaking the 9 second barrier. First video is Lane's 9.92 second is Dave's 9.98. Notice Dave's brake lights are on before the end of the 1/4 mile. Both were apparently warned not to exceed 140 MPH trap speed...
